Water: 200g
Target Brew Time: 2:30 minutes
Brewing:
- Heat water to 200°F (just off boiling).
- Add 15g of coffee grounds to the Aeropress chamber.
- Pour all the hot water (200g) into the Aeropress chamber at once.
Steep and Press:
- Let the coffee steep for 2 minutes.
- At the 2-minute mark, gently swirl the Aeropress to agitate the grounds.
- Place the filter cap on the Aeropress chamber and press down slowly for about 30 seconds, until you hear a hissing sound.

Target Brew Time: 3:00 minutes
Bloom:
- Pour 60g of water at 200°F (just off boiling) to just barely cover the coffee grounds.
- Gently swirl the V60 to saturate all the grounds.
- Let the coffee bloom for 45 seconds.
Pour:
- At 45 seconds, begin pouring the remaining water in a slow and steady stream.
- Aim for a circular pour, hitting all the grounds evenly.
- Maintain a consistent pour rate to ensure even extraction.
- Continue pouring until all the water is in by 1:30 minutes.
- After pouring, give the V60 another gentle swirl to break up any clumps.
Total Brew Time:
- The total brew time should be around 3 minutes. Let the coffee drain completely before removing the V60 from the carafe.
