Guatemala generally produces washed coffees due to the country's high humidity, so finding a natural-processed Guatemalan coffee is a treat. This coffee is part of a Regional Select program, designed to highlight the unique flavor profiles that Huehuetenango has to offer. Coffee accounts for about 80% of the local economy in this region, and the indigenous population plays a large role in the coffee production.
