This coffee comes to us from Rwenzori, Uganda, where the Bakonzo farmer group grows nearly everything by hand. Most producers grow as a family on 2 acre farms. The producer network will collaborate with each other on processing and marketing as well. After harvesting, the coffee is sorted in float tanks, to separate defects and lower quality beans, then dried for a week. We taste cherry and milk chocolate with a silky mouthfeel.
